Since 2001 volunteers have met twice a week during the academic year with a small number of students from nearby Rugg Elementary School, with volunteers reading one on one with students to improve their reading skills and comprehension level. Our goal is to instill a love of reading and inquiry, and for students to pass standardized tests in order to move up to appropriate grade levels.
