What to Expect in Worship
The worship of God is why we gather. We do this through singing hymns, the reading and interpretation of scripture (a sermon), prayers for one another and the world, and especially in the Eucharist.
There are many ways to describe Eucharist: some call it Mass while others may refer to the Lord’s Supper or Communion. Regardless of the word used or your tradition, the Eucharist is our thanksgiving for what God has done for us in the person of Jesus and every time we gather we remember that night Jesus spent with his disciples before his death. All baptized persons are welcome to join us for communion, no matter your denominational (church) affiliation.
Don’t feel like you have to do what others are doing during the service in terms of standing, kneeling, or making the sign of the cross. There is no right or wrong thing to do. Be yourself.
Some kneel during certain portions of the service as an act of reverence, while others stand in acclamation that in Jesus, God considers us worthy to stand before God.
Greeters and ushers are on hand to answer questions and direct you, and they can assist in finding another parishioner to sit with you throughout the service to help guide you through each part.

As you turn onto our campus - at the intersections of Bolton Avenue, Murray and Albert Streets - please note that there is ample street parking around the church and in the lot next to the Youth Building (Albert Street & 16th Avenue).
