St. James Concert Series

Thanks to generous support from The McCormick-Smith Fund, Inc., St. James is able to offer periodic musical concerts and other artistic events to the public, free of charge.

Regional, national, and international performers have included VOCES8, Chanticleer, The Gesualdo Six, El Mundo, the Rapides Symphony Orchestra, organist James O'Donnell of Westminster Abbey, sub-organist Peter Holder of Westminster Abbey, Hereford Cathedral Choir, New York Polyphony, the Canterbury Cathedral Choir, the Rolston String Quartet, New Texas Sinfonia, improvisation virtuoso Dorothy Papadakos among others.

Friday, 9/26/2025 at 7:00pm: the incomparable, Dorothy Papadakos, returns to bring to life Count Orlok in the 1922 silent film, Nosferatu. https://www.dorothypapadakos.com

Friday, 12/12/2025 at 7:00pm: East Texas Baroque Orchestra playing period instruments under the direction of Weston Jennings, will perform Antonio Vivaldi's complete Four Seasons for strings. www.westonjennings.com
